I don't watch much TV so missed this segment on food visionary Alice Waters that aired on 60 minutes last night. Luckily, it came to my attention through the Slow Food blog today. In it, Waters walks viewers behind the scenes at Chez Panisse and shares why she thinks the seasonal, organic, local foods movement is key to a future of health in this country. About accusations that Waters is "elitist" she says: "I feel that this food is a right, and it needs to be without pesticides and herbicides. Everybody deserves this food." (Warning: Watching this will make you hungry!)
