More gluten-free snacks

Now that my son, Sam, is home for Thanksgiving break (having recently given up gluten and feeling SO much better, finally), I'm looking for new foods to have on hand that he'll like. These picks get two thumbs way, way up:

French Meadow Bakery's Coconutty Macaroons and Brownie Bites. These are incredible! Now that Sam is a label reader, he immediately wanted to know "how they do this" ... that is, how they make them so yummy and with such good texture. (Brownies, especially, are pretty tricky to get right without gluten.) Both of these bite-size desserts are chewy, full of flavor, and contain no gluten or dairy. Clearly, the people at French Meadow Bakery know what they're doing. (It's also the oldest certified-organic bakery in the country.)

Funky Monkey freeze-dried fruit. Just crunchy, organic fruit, with no added sugar, flavors, or preservatives. I also tried these on some small-tyke friends, and they loved them, too (these would make a great lunch-box or car snack). My fave is Purple Funk: organic bananas laced with acai. Bonus: Each 1-ounce bag provides three servings of fruit (and believe me, my young friends devoured a bag in no time).
