Do you work with an organic farmer who stands above the rest? Maybe the person runs an incubator program for young farmer wannabes. Or perhaps the farmer is turning cow manure into power for operations.
Now you have the chance to give this innovative farmer the recognition he or she deserves.
Nominate your favorite organic farmer for 2011 Organic Farmer of the Year. The award, sponsored by the Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service, includes a cash gift, full registration to the 2011 Organic Farming Conference, lodging at the conference and a gift certificate redeemable at the conference book sales booth. Innovators and educators are given preference.
Get more information and download a nomination form at the MOSES website. The deadline is September 15.
