If your store’s prepared foodservice operation stands out for its commitment to sustainability, Eco-Products wants to hear about it. The company’s seeking submissions for their "Re-think your impact challenge" which will award free disposables for a year or $12,000 in grants to two food service providers.
“The ReTHINK Your Impact Challenge allows Eco-Products to help businesses take a closer look at their environmental footprint,” said Wendell Simonson, Eco-Products’ marketing communications manager in a release. “Can they decrease waste, use resources more wisely or assist their community’s green initiatives? Since we now offer products made from renewable and recycled materials, operators have a wide variety to choose from while reaching their sustainability goals.”
The ReTHINK Disposables Makeover award will convert an operator’s existing disposables – free, for one year – to Eco-Products’ renewable and recycled content products. The goal is to show how simple purchasing decisions can reduce a company’s impact.
Current Eco-Products customers are eligible for the second award, The ReTHINK Sustainability Grant, where the recipient will partner with Eco-Products to initiate greening projects in their community.
