Sustamine now in Champion Invigorate sports drink
Sustamine provides key amino acids L-alanine and L-glutamine that may help with rehydration and muscle recovery.

Consumers of Champion Nutrition’s Invigoratesports drink have another reason to add it to their workout regimen: it now contains Sustamine, an ingredient that works on multiple levels to help rehydrate the body and sustain energy levels during exertion.

With 250 mg of Sustamine in each 3.6 g packet of Invigorate, athletes of all levels can benefit from Sustamine’s ability to provide the body with key amino acids L-alanine and L-glutamine that may help with rehydration and muscle recovery. A recent study at the University of Central Florida showed current and former basketball players who consumed a mixture of Sustamine and water had better performance levels during active workouts. Sustamine enhances electrolyte and water absorption in the intestines while also helping inhibit muscle protein breakdown.

“Athletes get the energy-boosting and powerful antioxidants from Invigorate and the rehydration and muscle recovery benefits from Sustamine,” said Karen Todd, Kyowa Hakko USA director of marketing. “Sustamine and Invigorate is a great combination.”
