Bioriginal’s Registered Dietitian/Author to Speak at Learning Annex

Karlene Karst will be Among Health Presenters at this Consumer Event

Saskatoon, SK Canada – In their continuing efforts to promote the health benefits of essential fatty acids (EFAs), Bioriginal Food & Science Corp.’s registered dietitian will speak at the upcoming Learning Annex to be held in Vancouver November 14, 2004. Karlene Karst, RD will address the topic of women’s health and nutrition during her presentation, Women on the Run: Achieving Optimum Health at Every Stage. The session begins at 1:30 p.m. and is directed at consumers; it will also include time for audience questions.

Ms. Karst is an expert in the area of EFAs and provides related seminars and presentations as well as technical and regulatory advice. She holds a BSc in nutrition from the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Pharmacy and Nutrition and is a registered dietitian. As the co-author of Healthy Fats for Life, Karlene writes for health and nutrition publications and appears on radio and television shows. She currently serves on the advisory board for alive magazine in Canada, and is a Nutrition and Education Specialist at Bioriginal Food & Science Corp.
