New On-Line Vitamin Converter

Robert Forbes and Associates (RFA), a Sydney, Australia-based regulatory affairs and GMP consulting firm for complementary, OTC medicine, cosmetic, food and supplement industry companies, has launched its new look website along with an innovative vitamin converter. This world-first on-line vitamin converter has been developed by the RFA team and will save you time and effort!

The converter allows you to automatically calculate international units from weights and vitamin equivalence in compounds, go to and try it!

Robert Forbes says ‘ we hope that this new tool will save people time looking up tables to do conversions as they can simply enter the amount of vitamin and the rest is done for them’

In October 2008 the RFA website received the Most Outstanding Website of the Year award for 2008 from the Complementary Healthcare Council of Australia (CHC). The award, presented by Wendy Morrow, CHC president, was given in recognition of the excellence of the RFA website and in particular the time saving ability of the vitamin converter was noted as an outstanding feature of the site.

The RFA website is an innovative, up-to-date and easy to navigate website. It gives visitors updates on the latest regulatory news relating to the complementary & OTC medicine, cosmetic and food industries. The site is updated as news happens so will always contain the latest information, also the Current Affairs newsletters are featured so technical and regulatory information past and present can be sourced as required.

RFA represents numerous U.S. supplement manufacturers in Australia, submitting applications for complementary medicines (“dietary supplements”) to the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration and providing advice on formulation, labelling and other mandatory requirements for supplying supplements, cosmetics and foods in Australia and New Zealand.

Robert Forbes is also vice president of the Consultants Association for the Natural Products Industry (CANI), the leading US-based consultants group that promotes education and ethical standards for the improvement of manufacturing, distribution, marketing and advertising to help the supplement and food industries develop safe and beneficial products for business-to-business and consumer marketplaces.
