Parting is such sweet sorrow

It's that time of year, post SupplyExpo and Expo West afterglow, where new leads pop up like spring daffodils. By now, you've culled through your stacks of business cards and analyzed your electronic lead list. As the supporting print and online publication for Nutracon and SupplyExpo, it is our hope that the conference and tradeshow were a success for you.

One of the comments we received from an attendee was that our team of tradeshow planners, sales and marketing experts, and Functional Ingredients publication editors works hard to be the best ambassadors this industry can offer. That isn't by accident. One of our primary goals is to connect buyers and sellers in this industry and help your business succeed.

We call this service journalism at its finest. For the past two years, it was my pleasure to help your company succeed whether through providing industry news, the latest science or an attention-grabbing quote from someone integral to the health and wellness ingredients sector.

With that in mind, it is a bittersweet sadness that this is my last editor's note. I am leaving New Hope Natural Media to pursue book writing, a long-time passion. This isn't the last of me though; I will continue to work in the natural-products industry and look forward to seeing you at industry tradeshows and conferences.

I truly believe that every great product starts with a great ingredient. Keep up the good work and best wishes for continued success.

Fair Winds and Following Seas,

Kimberly Stewart
Editorial Director
