Pure Fruit Technologies Experiences Record Growth in 2005

American Fork, Utah, December 20, 2005 -- Pure Fruit Technologies, a Utah-based manufacturer of innovative nutritional juice supplements, experienced remarkable growth in 2005. The company's flagship product, Mango.xan, a mangosteen fruit based supplement, saw sales increase by 548 percent. Pure Fruit Technologies plans to continue this impressive growth by launching several new products in early 2006.

"I helped start Pure Fruit Technologies three years ago because I strongly believed in Mango.xan and wanted people around the world to be able to reap its many health benefits," stated Dave Boyd, director of global operations. "This growth is attributed to our talented staff and our devotion to providing the highest quality and most potent products. We are very excited to continue this pattern of growth as we introduce new products to the market."

In 2005, Pure Fruit Technologies increased staff by 40 percent and moved into a new building to accommodate the company's growth. They recently appointed Wayne Geilman, Ph.D., to the position of director of product technologies and food science, where he will manage the formulation of new products, as well as develop processes that will allow Pure Fruit Technologies to continue to provide the health benefits of exotic fruits to people around the world. Pure Fruit Technologies also hired Tyler Martin as senior web developer to help enhance the company's online presence and create interactive tools to assist the company's sales efforts.

Mango.xan's presence at retail also increased tremendously in 2005. In 2004, Mango.xan was sold in fewer than 200 stores. Currently, several thousand retail outlets offer the product including the Vitamin Shoppe, Wild Oats and Whole Foods chains. To meet this increased demand for Mango.xan, the company has gone from producing 6,500 bottles a month in 2004, to producing 52,000 bottles a month in 2005.
