Raley’s Educates Shoppers on Healthy Living by Adding Healthnotes to Web site; Renews Contract to Feature Healthnotes Touchscreens in Seventeen Stores

PORTLAND, Ore.—December 2, 2003—Healthnotes Inc. (HNI) today announced that Raley’s has signed a three-year contract to offer Healthnotes® acclaimed health and lifestyle information on its Web site. In addition, Raley’s renewed its kiosk software contract for three years and will continue to provide Healthnotes on touchscreen kiosks in seventeen stores.

The kiosks are part of Raley’s Well for Life centers, helping to enhance the shopping experience by educating shoppers on essential health and nutrition information. In addition to answering customer questions, the kiosks also offer quick, tasty, healthy recipes where shoppers need them most—at the supermarket.
