The Republic of Tea celebrates 20th anniversary by introducing two new teas

To commemorate its 20th anniversary in 2012, The Republic of Tea launches 20th Anniversary Celebration Tea and Twenty Herbs.

The Republic of Tea, leading purveyor of premium teas, today announced it is celebrating its 20th year of enriching people's lives through its premium tea, education and innovation. Founded in 1992 under a charter to start a "Tea Revolution," The Republic of Tea is committed to offering only the highest quality teas and herbs, while conducting business in a socially responsible manner. 

To commemorate its 20th anniversary in 2012, The Republic of Tea is introducing two new teas: 20th Anniversary Celebration Tea and Twenty Herbs.

ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION TEA is a delicious blend of premium high-grown, Ceylon black tea leaves from the Tommagong Estate in Sri Lanka, full tea blossoms lending a light herbal note, sweet white wine grapes from the Orange River Vineyard in South Africa, and infused with the essence of champagne, making it a true cup of celebration. Available now, the 20th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION TEA has a suggested retail price of $15 for a 3.5 oz tin of full-leaf loose tea that steeps 50-60 cups, packaged in a specially-designed air-tight tin.

TWENTY HERBS is a festive and unique blend of 20 herbs and spices, commemorating The Republic of Tea's 20 years of sip by sip living. TWENTY HERBS, the Tea of Many Virtues,is full-bodied, with a floral greeting of citrus and spice top notes enhanced by a minty, sweet, lingering finish. This caffeine-free, celebration blend of herbs and spices is a cup of jubilation.
