A third conference day has been added to the programme, which will include an interactive workshop that will focus on the new nutrition health claims. Speakers include Kath Veal, business manager, regulatory services, from Leatherhead Food International; and Professor David Richardson, from DPR Nutrition UK.
The third day of the exhibition will include the popular Vitafoods International Discussion Forum, a talk-show forum that will focus on the latest developments in European and International policy and regulation. Simon Pettman, director of the European international food and nutrition law consultancy EAS, will open the discussion with an overview of key issues for 2008. Expect lively debate, conversations and clarifications on key policy initiatives.

The free Supplier Seminar Theater, sponsored by Naturex, features notable industry practitioners. Cognis will present a session on strategies and concepts in the dairy, foods and supplements sectors. Fortitech Europe will delve into the challenges and solutions associated with functional beverages. Hansen will feature the topic, 'probiotics and children', and examine consumer perceptions, delivery systems and recent scientific research.
