mix1 Life Inc., (MIXX) announces that its protein shakes are now certified by Banned Substances Control Group (BSCG) under its Certified Drug Free® program ensuring the safety of consumers and athletes.
"As part of our program, samples of mix1 products have been analyzed for a complete list of drugs prohibited by sport including those banned by WADA, USADA, NHL, NFL, MLB, MLS, PGA, LPGA, NCAA and other drug testing programs. No prohibited compounds were detected," stated Oliver Catlin, president of BSCG in Los Angeles. "As a result, the mix1 products may now carry the BSCG Certified Drug Free seal letting customers know that the company and its finished products have met rigorous quality standards above and beyond industry requirements."
"We are proud that mix1 has been certified by BSCG to ensure that consumers and athletes are able to take the product with confidence," stated Cameron Robb, CEO of mix1. "We are pleased to participate in a program which helps to differentiate between responsible supplement manufacturers, of which we strive to be, and those whose products may present unnecessary risks."
"According to BSCG, athletes are held liable for any banned substances found during drug testing regardless of the origin of the substance," stated Brad Robb, sports marketing executive of mix1. "For this reason, athletes must be extremely careful about what they put into their bodies. We have found that a substantial number of athletes feel supplements are a vital part of their training regimen and as such, we are proud to be able to provide a quality product to those in the sports arena, athletes as well as consumers."
