Wellmune now in WholeMune

Ortho, Biothera partner on WholeMune

Ortho Molecular Products recently introduced WholeMune capsules with Wellmune and has other products in the pipeline for the health care professional channel.

Ortho Molecular Products is partnering with Biothera, the Immune Health Company, to offer products to the health care professional market containing natural immune health ingredient Wellmune WGP®. The company recently introduced WholeMune capsules with Wellmune and has other products in the pipeline, including a convenient 10-count WholeMune blister pack, to meet a wide range of patient needs.

Wellmune is a structurally unique beta 1,3/1,6 glucan derived from a proprietary strain of baker’s yeast. Nine human clinical studies consistently demonstrate the ability of Wellmune to safely boost key immune cells that keep the body healthy. The clinical studies have demonstrated the ability of Wellmune to help maintain health during cold and flu season.

Each WholeMune capsule contains the recommended daily serving of 250 mg of Wellmune.

“Biothera is a respected leader in immune research and we are excited to partner with them. Wellmune’s extensive clinical research underscores its effectiveness and meets our demand for ingredients that have proven results—because we are committed to providing efficacious products that get patients better faster,” said Aaron Bartz, president of Ortho Molecular Products.

“Managing immune challenges is a well-recognized need to support overall health and wellness,” said Richard G. Mueller, chief executive officer, Biothera. “Designed for everyday use year-round, Wellmune is the ideal ingredient for WholeMune to deliver clinically proven immune health benefits including helping to manage the harmful effects of physical and psychological stress. Backed by extensive science, Wellmune is the immune booster that health care professionals can recommend with confidence.”
