Lacey, WA– September 28, 2004 – Aloecorp, the world’s leading vertically integrated supplier of bioactive Aloe vera raw materials, has announced the appointment of Evan Moilan to the position of Director of Manufacturing, overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing operation at the company’s Lyford, Texas and Gonzalez, Mexico processing and manufacturing facilities. Moilan’s nearly three decades of business management experience encompasses significant roles in manufacturing, operations and production in the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, functional foods, medical health, and retail and wholesale food industries.
Prior to joining Aloecorp, Moilan was Division Operations Manager for Rockwell Medical Technologies, a manufacturer and distributor of kidney dialysis products located in Wixom, Michigan. He also worked for the Wyeth Nutritionals division of what was American Home Products in various upper management capacities within the operations, manufacturing and production departments, including the role of Technical Director - Nutritionals. In addition, Moilan managed manufacturing within the Mead Johnson division of Bristol-Myers. During his vast career, Moilan developed, owned and operated a retail and wholesale food business. He holds a degree in Food Technology and Engineering from Texas Tech University.

In line with its facility upgrades, Aloecorp is in the midst of constructing a new state-of-the-art administrative, processing and warehousing facility in Texas, as well as expanding its Mexican processing and manufacturing facility with the addition of new and upgraded equipment and procedures, both of which are planned for completion this fall.
