Carotech Inc., the only GMP-certified natural full-spectrum palm tocotrienol producer, is pleased to announce that the American Palm Oil Council and the Malaysian Palm Oil Board will jointly hold a red palm oil seminar (Dr. Oz’s most miraculous find for 2013 to address aging) at Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, Calif., on March 7, 2014.
The seminar, titled “Get Healthy! With Natural, Powerful Antioxidants from Red Palm Oil – Tocotrienols and Mixed Carotenoids,” will be led by Dr. Shawn Talbott, one of America’s leading lifestyle experts; Bryan See, product manager of Carotech; and Johari Minal, regional manager of Malaysian Palm Oil Board. They will discuss the nutritional aspects of red palm oil and beneficial health effects of tocotrienols—the unsaturated form of vitamin E, found abundantly in red palm oil. These distinguished speakers will present the latest human clinical studies with regard to liver health/protection, brain health/neuroprotection and cardiovascular health.
Minal will touch on the sustainability practices of the production of virgin palm oil as implemented nationwide in Malaysia.
The organizer welcomes leaders, formulators, and R&D and technical personnel from dietary supplements, food and drinks, cosmetics and personal care product companies to attend the seminar to learn more about these powerful palm antioxidants—the tocotrienols and mixed carotenoids.
“I have recently attended an excellent scientific conference on red palm oil, tocotrienols and carotenoids in Malaysia. I look forward to sharing these unique powerful phytonutrients with everyone especially to the American public,” Talbott said.
“Carotech is honored to participate and be invited to present a session at the seminar. My presentation will touch on the latest updates from human clinical trials providing scientific evidence on the protective effects of Tocomin SupraBio®,” See said.
Attendance is free, and attendees will be given a goody bag with products and technical literatures on a first-come-first-served basis.
