Albion has announced that they have been selected to receive the 2011 Global Pacesetter Award presented annually by Zions Bank.
Each year, Zions Bank recognizes Utah companies demonstrating a broad international reach and global economic leadership with the Zions Bank Global Pacesetter award. These Global Pacesetters are exporting and importing products and services so they can leverage the opportunities the interconnectivity has to offer. Past winners include Ancestry.com, Parker International, Ultradent Products, Black Diamond Equipment Company, and Merit Medical.
This year’s winner is Albion. Albion will proudly accept this award at the 10th Annual Trade & Business Conference held Thursday, May 26, 2011 – 8:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. at the Downtown Marriott – 75 South West Temple, Salt Lake City. The award is scheduled to be presented at 11:30.
This half-day conference will cover the latest trends in global economic analysis and business including the economic climate, demographic changes and government initiatives affecting America’s competitiveness. Resources and services that can help businesses reach their global potential will also be introduced.
Scheduled keynote speakers are Alvaro Uribe, former President of Columbia; Dr. Rebecca Blank, Under Secretary for Economic Affairs; Bret Stephens, Foreign Affairs Columnist and Deputy Editor of The Wall Street Journal; and Dan North, Euler Hermes Economist.
