The Natural Products Association (NPA) will provide expert industry insights at a variety of seminars and events offered during SupplySide West Oct. 6 to 10 in Las Vegas.
In addition to hosting a handful of educational sessions on industry hot topics, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and labeling of foods containing genetically modified organisms (GMOs), NPA will hold a fundraiser in honor of Sen. Dean Heller, R-Nev. NPA CEO Daniel Fabricant, Ph.D., will also be a featured speaker at SupplySide West, along with NPA’s Corey Hilmas, senior vice president of scientific and regulatory affairs.
“NPA is excited to bring our new and updated educational opportunities to Las Vegas,” Dr. Fabricant said. “As the regulatory landscape continues to change, the content of these offerings will prove invaluable to the supplier community, and we’re proud to be able to provide industry stakeholders with the information they need to be compliant and successful. Additionally, as we near the retirement of Sen. Tom Harkin, it’s increasingly important to support political candidates who can be our next industry champions, and I’m thrilled that NPA will be hosting a fundraiser in honor of Sen. Heller. This is an opportunity for the industry to play a hands-on role in helping to cultivate industry champions and make sure our issues are heard on Capitol Hill.”
