Chris Kerston spent over a decade working as a full time farmer and rancher, practicing and promoting regenerative agriculture, before joining the Savory Institute. He developed a love for cultivating regional supply chains that maintain traceability and allow growers and consumers to connect over shared values. Chris now co-leads Land to Market, a program of the Savory Institute, which connects agricultural producers with progressive brands in much the same way. Land to Market creates new value streams and opportunities for growers and simultaneously supports brands with three pillars: Supply, Science and Story. The Land to Market team helps brands find regenerative supply, make the science data relevant to impact reporting and effectively tell stories to communicate what regenerative is and why it is so game-changing.
