New personal care products: defuzzing the market

With many consumers planning on baring more flesh than usual for their annual vacations, a variety of products have reached the market that are designed to help create a smoother looking skin. These include one that is intended for a minority sector of society - transvestite men - a group that don't have many products devoted to them.

Sor, Inc. has seen a gap in the market for skincare for transvestite men, launching a hair removal cream in the US specifically aimed at this minority group. The A New You branded cream can be used on arms, legs and the face to eliminate and thin unwanted male body hair. With other consumer groups well provided for in the skincare market, perhaps transvestites - along with cross-dressing and transgender consumers - will provide more growth opportunities in the skincare market.
